Inverse problems for the Schrödinger equations with time-dependent electromagnetic potentials and the Aharonov-Bohm effect. Abstract We consider the inverse boundary value problem for the Schrödinger operator with time-dependent electromagnetic potentials in domains with obstacles. We extend the resuls of the author's works [E1], [E2], [E3] to the case of time-dependent potentials. We relate our results to the Aharonov-Bohm effect caused by magnetic and electric fluxes.

We study the inverse boundary value problems for the Schrödinger equations with Yang-Mills potentials in a bounded domain Ω 0 ⊂ R n containing finite number of smooth obstacles Ω j , 1 ≤ j ≤ r. We prove that the Dirichlet-to-Neumann opeartor on ∂Ω 0 determines the gauge equivalence class of the Yang-Mills potentials. We also prove that the metric tensor can be recovered up to a diffeomorphism t...

The Time - Dependent Approach to Inverse Scattering ∗

In these lectures I give an introduction to the time-dependent approach to inverse scattering, that has been developed recently. The aim of this approach is to solve various inverse scattering problems with time-dependent methods that closely follow the physical (and geometrical) intuition of the scattering phenomena. This method has been applied to many linear and nonlinear scattering problems...

We first write down a very general description of nonlinear classical electrodynamics, making use of generalized constitutive equations and constitutive tensors. Our approach includes non-Lagrangian as well as Lagrangian theories, allows for electromagnetic fields in the widest possible variety of media (anisotropic, piroelectric, chiral and ferromagnetic), and accommodates the incorporation of...

Ja n 20 02 Solutions of relativistic wave equations in superpositions of Aharonov - Bohm , magnetic , and electric fields

Solutions of relativistic wave equations in superpositions of Aharonov-Bohm, magnetic, and electric fields. Abstract We present new exact solutions (in 3 + 1 and 2 + 1 dimensions) of relativistic wave equations (Klein-Gordon and Dirac) in external electromagnetic fields of special form. These fields are combinations of Aharonov-Bohm solenoid field and some additional electric and magnetic field...

Inverse problems for Aharonov - Bohm rings 3

The inverse problem for Schrödinger operators on metric graphs is investigated in the presence of magnetic field. Graphs without loops and with Euler characteristic zero are considered. It is shown that the knowledge of the Titchmarsh-Weyl matrix function (Dirichlet-to-Neumann map) for just two values of the magnetic field allows one to reconstruct the graph and potential on it provided a certa...
